Request for an urgent appointment with the court registry officer at JVA Moabit
On 15.01.2025 I asked the court registry officer (Urkundsbeamter) at JVA Moabit (Moabit Prison) for an urgent appointment with the court registry officer to submit my supplement to the grounds for the appeal on points of law (Revision)The grounds for the appeal on points of law against the judgment of 22.07.2024, submitted by court-appointed defence counsel on 28.11.2024. under §345 StPO for recording by the court registry.
Commentary — Dmitry Bagrash’s assessment
§ 345 Abs. 2 StPO leaves a defendant without reachable defence counsel exactly two routes: a declaration recorded by the court registry or a written submission signed by a lawyer. Since the second route was closed to me, this application was not a wish but the only remaining way to submit arguments in the appeal on points of law at all.
