Reopening the case: a defence team outside Berlin is ready. Sought: a non-profit organisation to hold the donations — the money goes to the defence, not to me.

I did not commit the offence.
The case against me was fabricated, the judgment manipulated.
That is my position. I state it under my own name and in full awareness of my responsibility — and I name names. You do not have to believe a word of it.
On 2 September 2026 I filed a criminal complaint under § 339 StGB against presiding judge Groß and senior prosecutor Wachs. The Berlin Prosecutor General’s Office — the office for which Wachs prosecuted me — passed it to the Berlin Public Prosecutor’s Office under its supervision. It refused my request to transfer the matter outside Berlin itself on 14 October 2026 (case number 232 Js 4326/26). No decision has been made on the allegation; the presumption of innocence applies. On 5 July 2026, I could have walked free.
The price was a confession.
I am Dmitry Bagrash, chair of the association Unkremlin e.V., and I have been in custody since 14 December 2022. On 22 July 2024, Landgericht Berlin I (Berlin Regional Court I) sentenced me to five years and four months. I deny committing this offence.
Two thirds of the sentence had been served by 5 July 2026. On 24 June 2026, the Regional Court refused to suspend the remainder of the sentence — expressly also because I maintain my innocence. That leaves 649 days. I have decided to serve them.
Eight stages, one connection — and the question of a parliamentary committee of inquiry
From the seizure of the “Putin is a Killer” banner in September 2021 to the ban on my video contact in July 2026, imposed because of a public criminal complaint against a judge and a prosecutor. Every stage is supported by original documents.

At a vigil, Berlin police seize the “Putin is a killer” banner — on the direct instruction of chief senior public prosecutor Raupach.
This was my political work before charges were brought: public, under my own name, directed against the Putin regime — not in secret.
My political work and what happened afterwards →I am the author of this website. I have never seen it on a screen myself.
I do not have unrestricted internet access in prison and do not open my own email inbox. Content is developed by telephone; authorised helpers and AI tools handle its technical implementation outside the prison. I decide what is published here and take responsibility for it.

“I reject freedom in exchange for a confession”
On 24.06.2026, Berlin Regional Court I refused my early release. The reasons — and the later submission by the Generalstaatsanwaltschaft (Prosecutor General's Office) of 26.05.2026 — openly state what has since become my central concern: I am criticised for not “coming to terms with the offence”, in other words for maintaining my innocence.
The Prosecutor General's Office itself states verbatim that a “full admission of guilt” is not an indispensable prerequisite for coming to terms with the offence and that denial alone cannot support a negative assessment of prospects for social reintegration — yet it still uses my denial against me. I have decided not to pay that price. I will not confess in order to be released earlier.
This is not a side issue in my case. It is its core.

Who denied access to legal protection
Almost every decision in these proceedings bears a name — and several of the most important bear none. The sentence plan of 17.04.2026 and the underlying diagnostic assessment end with “On behalf of” and an abbreviation, without a signature. This page records both: the named officials and their respective decisions — and the places where nobody signs as the person responsible.
All allegations are identified as my personal assessment and do not replace a judicial finding. The same page also records who acted correctly.
