The Federal Office sends me an asylum application form – “if you wish to pursue asylum proceedings”

By letter of 5 October 2026 (ref. 10866144-160), formally served on 8 October 2026, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees replies to my letter of 26 May 2026, in which I had asked for a full clarification of all asylum, refugee, human-rights and family circumstances. It asks me to fill in the enclosed form – a written notice of an asylum application under § 14(2) AsylG – “if you wish to pursue asylum proceedings”.

Context: I have held a permanent right of residence since 1995, today a settlement permit; it has not been revoked. The same Federal Office found a ban on deportation to Russia on 17 March 2026 (F2-236). I have not applied for asylum. The form is reproduced blank. The assessments are mine.
