The Potsdam Public Prosecutor’s Office is processing the criminal complaint: 496 Js 34084/26
In a letter of 24.08.2026, the Potsdam Public Prosecutor’s Office states that my criminal complaint against Sergej J. under § 223 StGB (bodily harm) has been received there and is being processed under case reference 496 Js 34084/26. If no charges are brought, further notification is to follow.
For the first time in this group of events, proceedings with a case reference are therefore pending. The complaint concerns the incidents of 05.08.2026 in work unit 3 at JVA Heidering correctional facility.
Presumption of innocence
Receipt of a complaint and allocation of a case reference say nothing about whether the allegation is justified. The presumption of innocence applies to the person reported. I make no assessment; I record the procedural status.

I find the comparison of the two routes noteworthy. After reviewing the camera recordings, the same institution established on 21.08.2026 that, in the confrontation, I was not the aggressor; it lifted the suspension and reimbursed the lost earnings (Chronology F5-021). The public prosecutor’s examination is now proceeding separately from this.
