Termination of the retainer and revocation of the power of attorney
On 16.12.2024, I terminated lawyer Römer’s retainer and revoked the power of attorney. The reason was what I regarded as a serious breach of trust in connection with the statement of grounds for the appeal on points of law (Revision)The statement of grounds for the appeal on points of law (Revision) against the judgment of 22.07.2024, submitted by court-appointed defence counsel on 28.11.2024. and the lack of contact.

The Federal Court of Justice later addressed the revocation in the presiding judge’s order of 07.05.2025, but, in my view, did not give it due consideration.
