On 14.01.2025 I received a letter without a prescribed form dated 09.01.2025 from Groß, Presiding Judge at the Landgericht (Regional Court; VRiLG). In it he stated that he had asked my defence counsel for a statement
The order of the Presiding Judge of the 5th Criminal Senate of the Bundesgerichtshof (Federal Court of Justice) dated 07.05.2025 (case reference 5 StR 72/25, documented under F1-035) shows that my defence counsel at the time, lawyer Römer, had dated his statement on the grounds for the appeal on points of law (Revision) 07.01.2025. This statement was never sent to me. (Anlage 8_F2)
Correction of 26.09.2026: An earlier version of this page dated the order 14.01.2025 — that is the date on which I received the letter from VRiLG Groß documented here, not the date of the BGH order. The correct date is 07.05.2025 (see above and F1-014, F1-035). What I do not claim: The fact that the statement is dated 07.01.2025 does not in itself establish that it had already been received by the Regional Court on 09.01.2025, the date of VRiLG Groß’s letter. I merely note that it was never sent to me personally.
