Tampered letter from the Senate Department for Justice
On 26.05.2025 at 13:10, I received a letter from the Senate Department for Justice dated 16.05.2025. Observation: The envelope appeared closed on the outside, but bore traces of previous opening and subsequent resealing; these adhesive traces were found not only on the envelope but on the letter itself. Explanatory hypothesis: This suggests that the original was opened before being handed over. Gap in the evidence: I cannot establish from the adhesive traces alone who opened the letter, when and with what authority; whether this was unlawful is therefore not proved and remains open.
Comment — assessment by Dmitry Bagrash
Adhesive traces at several places on the envelope are an objectively describable finding, independently of any assessment. This concerned a letter from the supervisory authority to which I had turned precisely about the postal incidents. To this day, I continue to request the original envelope to be obtained as evidence.
