Federal Prosecutor General asked to examine whether a foreign intelligence service was involved

06.11.2026 · per Telefax und E-Mail

On 6 November 2026 I asked the Federal Prosecutor General at the Federal Court of Justice to examine whether there are sufficient indications that a foreign intelligence service was involved in the events that led to my conviction (§ 99 StGB). Delivered by fax at 10:19 (2 pages, FAX-ID 17747146) and by e-mail.

The sequence I rely on is documented: on 7 April 2022 the Russian delegation to the OSCE Permanent Council accused my association of publishing addresses of Russian journalists in Berlin (OSZE). Sixteen days later, in the night to 24 April 2022, the device was placed outside a house in Lepsiusstraße where staff of Russian state media live. On 2 February 2023 the head of the Berlin bureau of “Rossiya Segodnya” publicly named me as the perpetrator (deception 5). Prosecution and court considered a staged operation implausible; to my knowledge this was never investigated. I turn to Karlsruhe because in Berlin the same Prosecutor General’s Office whose senior prosecutor charged me decides on my complaint against him (complaint Groß/Wachs). I do not claim that any particular person worked for a foreign service; the presumption of innocence applies to all named.
