Annex 212_F2 — Senate administration (Senatsverwaltung)’s reply: no intervention on 24.08.2026
The Senate Department for Justice and Consumer Protection (Senatsverwaltung für Justiz und Verbraucherschutz) (Gz. III A 2 – 4510-0027/2025/E, case officer Frau Hehmann) confirms the sequence of events concerning the delayed handover of registered letter RT508494813DE and states that there was no intervention by the supervisory authority on 24.08.2026. The head of JVA Heidering (Heidering prison) is named for the first time: Andreas Kratz. According to its own statement, the supervisory authority checks only whether the prison’s decision was free of arbitrariness — not the individual case.
