Details →Final statement on the video-calling ban and application for interim relief
In proceedings 595 StVK 126/26 Vollz I submitted my final statement and simultaneously applied for interim relief. The proportionality of the three-month complete video-calling ban of 17.07.2026 is challenged.
I also ask for clarification of the information route by which my letter to the press of 12.07.2026 or the video link reached the prison from the Senate Department.
In parallel, I published an Open Statement on the ban recording my continuing interest in a judicial declaration, owing to the risk of recurrence and the interference with freedom of expression and journalistic activity.
Commentary — assessment by Dmitry Bagrash
I expressly do not allege that the Senate Department issued an instruction. The information route is unknown to me; I describe it as requiring clarification, not as established. I maintain this restraint in all my written submissions.
I addressed the same request to the Senate Department for Justice (Senatsverwaltung für Justiz) on 01.09.2026, there linking it to a question under § 147 GVG about how my criminal complaint concerning Senior Public Prosecutor (Oberstaatsanwalt) Wachs had been handled.
